The
regularly scheduled meeting of EAA Chapter 922 was called to order by
President Marc Hines at 2:00 pm in the terminal building at KAXV.
Members present were: Marc Hines, Ken Boyd, Mike Schnell, Matt Bailey.
Old Business
Members
were wondering about the status of Gene's annual hangar party. Without
Gene present, little was known about this event and its immediate
future.
Mike Schnell reviewed the Young Eagles flights
associated with Neil Armstrong Museum and their Space Camp. Mike flew,
and our friends from Van Wert brought another Cherokee to help out. The
two of us flew 28 kids and sent them on their way with smiles on their
faces. This time, the museum was able to fund our efforts tot the tune
of $250. We burned $172 worth of fuel, so the remainder with remain as a
donation to the chapter.
