On a day good for only flying IFR, Chapter 922 met at AXV for
their December meeting. President Todd Bills, called the meeting to
order with six members (Marc Hines, Richard Murray, Neil Winget,
Todd Bills, Ken Boyd and Gene Will) and two guests (Tina Strobel and
Ann Vogel) present. The minutes of the previous meeting were read
and approved. Gene reported a balance of $214.26 in the treasury.
Members were reminded that dues ($25) are being collected.
Old Business: The winter dinner meeting was discussed. Neil
said to rent the museum at WPAFB, the cost would be $2000. Richard
said we could go to the museum for free and eat at the officers club with
a cost of $20 to $30 per person. Richard then suggested going to the
WACO museum in Troy. The person in charge of the museum said we
tour the displays and then they would cater a light meal (pulled pork
sandwich plus a couple of side dishes) for $15 per person. Ken and Neil
moved and seconded the motion that the chapter visits the WACO
museum this year. The secretary will send out notices with members
responding as to how many will be attending. This will take place on
Sunday, February 10, 2013, and will in place of the regular meeting.
Spouses are invited to attend also. EAA Chapter 109 will also be invited.
New Business: Richard and Neil moved that the club accept Tina
Strobel as a new member. She has an aircraft kept at CQA.
New officers were then nominated and voted upon. The officers

Tina Strobel, Secretary; Gene Will, Treasurer. Mike Schnell was
appointed chairman of Young Eagles with Neil Winget and Tina Strobel
