EAA chapter 922 was called to order on this date at 2 pm by President, Dick Murray with 5 members and one guest present. Members present were: Walt Vogel, Todd Bills, Neil Winget, Gene Will, Dick Murray and guest Ann Vogel.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. Gene Will reported a balance in the treasury of $228.55. He also reported that he paid Ann Vogel for picnic supplies and he had bills of $117.29 for picnic supplies. A motion was made by Neil to pay the bill, seconded by Todd. Motion carried.
Walt and Neil reported on the WACO fly-in held last month. They remarked about all the different styles of Waco’s that were built. Walt reported on attending the parade in New Carlisle last week. Todd told about visiting Kill Devil Hills in North Carolina this summer and Gene talked about the UP Michigan 33rd annual Antique Boat Show.
Rules concerning getting a pilot’s license after getting a DUI were discussed. It can be done, with a lot of determination!!
Todd Bills reported that he will be helping with the Boy Scout Aviator Explorers starting next month.
It was reported that Paul Tebbe sold his Avid Flyer. Todd reported on the progress he is making with his project. He will attend a gas welding seminar in Indianapolis later this month.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned by Walt, seconded by Neil.
