June 8, 2013

Our regular monthly meeting was conducted informally in advance of our Young Eagle flights on this date.
In attendance were members Dick Heiby, Neil Winget, Mike Schnell, Brent Ricther, Ken Boyd, Jon Bailey, Richard Murray, Tina Strobel, and Todd Bills. Guests included Ann Vogel and Wade the Aztec man from Sidney.

From the email register:

Thank you!

Thank you Ken Boyd and Dick Heiby for being Payload Specialists and get our Young Eagles loaded and de-planed in a safe efficient manner. It would not have flowed well without you.

Thank you Jon Bailey and Ann Vogel for addressing the registration and certificates for our Young Eagles. Your efforts contributed to the success we enjoyed and made the event memorable for all involved.

Thank you Neil 'Hollywood' Winget who filled a void Walt Vogel left by explaining aerodynamics and airplanes to our guests, in addition to your efforts contacting the local media and your stellar Channel 35 appearance.

Thank you Wade and your Aztec from Sidney for helping fly several sorties early in the day.

Thank you Mike Schnell, Tina Strobel, Richard Murray, Brent Ritcher, and Todd Bills for flying our Young Eagles.

Thank you Russ Hovie for the $200.00 donation in gasoline supplied for aircraft flying Young Eagles.

Thank you someone for the donuts that served to sustain us throughout the morning.

Mike, Tina, and Neil well done organizing this years event. One hundred ten Young Eagles flown and the comments overheard from the parents were gratitude to our chapter providing this opportunity for their children to experience flight on a personal basis.

Thank you we couldn't have done it without you.
